Martha Alice Eaton, 87, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Martha Alice Adkins Eaton was born in Madison County to Cap and Dora Lee Adkins. She was an only child and grew up on the family cotton farm. As a child she would walk up and down the front rock wall watching for a certain fellow to pass by in his fast car. Years later she married him, Joe Eaton and they had 45 years together until he died. They raised 4 children, Marty (Carol) Eaton, Kellye (Vickie) Fowler, Karen (Gary) Cooper and Anna Baughman.

She is survived by 5 grandchildren, Tara (Rory) Hamaker, Shana Folk, Lysee (John) Honea, Danny Cooper and Sean (Kimberly) Eaton and 6 great grandchildren, Emiliee, Dakota, Connor, Emma Mae, Eliana and Clara. She is preceded in death by her grandson Jeffrey Houston Baughman (05.18.1993-10.03.2024).

She is forever grateful to Anna, Lysee, Jeffrey and her very special Dakota for the years of care they have provided for her in these last years of her life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow with Bro. Richard Barham officiating. Interment will take place at Huntsville Memory Gardens.

Escorting her to her final resting place as pallbearers will be:
Lysee Honea, Dakota Smith, John Honea, Danny Cooper, Scotty Anderson and Breauna Anderson
