Mary Lockseil Adair Soltis, 93, of Huntsville, AL, passed into the arms of her Savior on April 29, 2025. Born on December 3, 1931, in Lawrenceburg, TN, to John Henry Adair and Martha Belle Aaron Adair. She was the youngest of eight siblings.

Raised on her family's farm in South Tennessee, Mary's parents instilled in her a deep love for family and faith. She moved to Huntsville as a young girl, where she lived for over 80 years.

An exceptional seamstress, Mary viewed her craft as both a profession and a ministry. She sewed for countless weddings, generously sharing her time and talent. Through her work, she built meaningful connections, often sharing the hope of the Gospel. With her warm spirit, Mary touched countless lives and made everyone feel loved and valued. She maintained close ties with friends and family, never meeting a stranger.

Above all, Mary was a woman of profound faith. Her trust in Jesus Christ and dedication to studying the Bible inspired those around her. She looked forward with faith to the day she would see God face to face. Mary was a devoted member of College Park Church of God, where she served faithfully for 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Soltis; parents, John Henry Adair and Martha Belle Aaron Adair; son, Dickey Adair Michael; and seven siblings.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Michael Acton; grandchildren, Barry Fish (Lisa), Bradley Fish (Lisa), Tamara Michael Dean, and Jennifer Jacks (Terry); great- grandchildren, Rev. Gardner Fish (Sarah), Avery Fish, and Cameron Fish; great-great- granddaughter, Susannah Fish; and 15 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
