Mary G. Fields, 88, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

She was a native of Huntsville, AL, born on April 16, 1936 to the late John W. Guthery and Rubie Potts Guthery.

She retired from Chrysler Corp. in 1999.

Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Ray J. Fields; daughters, Kathryn J. Shannon and Sherry Lynn Lewis; sisters, Johnnie G. Atkins, Bobbie J. Layne, and Patsy Miller.

Mrs. Fields leaves behind her son, Mark A. Partain; grandchildren, Amy Shannon Williams, Emily Shields, Chass Shannon, Wesley Long, Jonathan Long; and my beloved granddaughter, Paula J. Shannon; and sister, Jean Jackson of Huntsville; along with 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18th, beginning at 11:00 AM at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
