Mary Opal McGee, 92, of Huntsville passed away Saturday. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl E. McGee. Opal was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was devoted to her family. She was a second mother and grandmother to many and loved by all who knew her. She was a member of Holmes Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Marcia McGee Ashford and son-in-law Tony Huff; three grandchildren: Amber Ashford, Alex Ashford and Eric Huff; her extended family and a host of friends. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Anthony Ford officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Family Cares.
