Mary Brandon Price, 80 of Meridianville, passed away on June 13, 2022.

Mrs. Price is survived by her sister, Judy Davis; sister-in-law, Jeanette Price Gaddis; aunt, Faye Payton; uncle Jim Payton; nephew, Donald Abernathy; her pet and constant companion, Josie and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Crawford Price; her father Tal Ed Brandon; her step father, J.D. McDaniel; her mother, Mary Payton McDaniel; and her loving great grandparents, Charles and Thula Brandon.

Mrs. Price attended Lincoln and West Huntsville schools, before graduating from Butler High School in 1961. She then attended Turner Wiggins Beauty College. She worked at several beauty shops in Huntsville and was a teacher at Real Life School. She loved little kids and enjoyed being around them. Mrs. Price then became a homemaker, where she enjoyed her family.

Her hobbies were sewing, cooking, knitting, weaving, and gardening. She was a member of Westlawn Baptist Church, she also attended Central Baptist Church until she moved away from Huntsville.

The family would like to thank all the staff and nurses who cared for her at Crestwood Hospital on 4 East, Dr. Glosemeyer, and all the ladies at Hospice Family Care.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. Services will be in the Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery.
