Mary Robinson Stumpe, 75, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

We are very sad to announce the passing of Mary Robinson Stumpe.  Mary and her husband Carl were blessed with two exceptional children, on whom she doted.  She worked as a teacher at Muscle Shoals Middle School in Muscle Shoals, AL, and at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Florence, AL.  Mary also worked as a bank teller in Massena, NY, and in Meridianville, AL.

Mary was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in St. Florian; she played the organ at St. Michael's, St. Joseph's, and Our Lady Queen of the Universe (in Huntsville, AL).

She was a very intelligent and talented woman.  Her hobbies included painting, stained glass, and quilting.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl, and their children Anne (Matthew) and Michael.

Mary will be laid to rest at a private service at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in St. Florian.
