Melvin Otis Bradford, 81, of Toney, passed away Friday.

Mr. Bradford was a member of the National Guard.  He also did security work at Huntsville Hospital and he was a sheet metal worker.  Mr. Bradford loved fishing, Bama football, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mauvlenn Bradford; four sons, Rick, Mike, Kevin, and Mel, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Alyssa, Ashley, Melissa, Daniel, and Kevin David; and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Will, and Kase.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kirby.

Visitation will be Monday, October 7th from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral followed by service at 11:00 with Bro. Ronnie Miller officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hudson Alpha Research and designate for Alzheimer's Disease.
