Michael "Mike" Haltiwanger, 65, of Harvest, AL, passed away on Nov. 11, 2025.

Mike was born in Albertville, AL, on May 28, 1960, and grew up in Huntsville, where he played baseball throughout the years. He went to S. R. Butler High School, then later drove for several trucking companies, which he loved, allowing him to travel and see the U.S.  Mike also loved family gatherings and spending time with all of his nieces.

Some of his hobbies were going to car shows and drag races.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Haltiwanger and Dot Haltiwanger, his brothers, Terry Haltiwanger and Gary Haltiwanger.

He is survived by his Sisters: Brenda Hutchins (Chris), Karen James (Bill), Diane Oakley (Steve), Wanda Long (Ken),  and Angie Eakes (Charles), and a host of nieces, great nieces, and nephew.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 4:00 pm with Dan Duncan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike's name to a charity/organization of your choice.
