It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Stanley McAllister, who departed this life on July 17, 2026, at the age of 66.
Mike was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a man whose greatest purpose in life was protecting his family. Those who knew him understood that he loved deeply, even if he didn’t always express it with words. His love was shown through his unwavering commitment to keeping those he cared about safe. He believed that if his family was protected, then he had fulfilled his calling.
He shared a lifetime of marriage with his faithful wife, Peggy Lamb McAllister, who stood beside him through every season of life. Her unwavering love, loyalty, and care never wavered, and she remained his constant source of strength until his final days.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Lamb McAllister; his three children, Tina McAllister Morrow (Ray Morrow), Michael Adam McAllister (Alicia McAllister), and Chad Stanley McAllister (Jessica McAllister); his cherished grandchildren, Porter McAllister, Preston McAllister, and Addilyn Rose McAllister; his brother, Mark Edwin McAllister; and many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Porter McAllister; his mother, Faye Bailey McAllister; his brother, Ken McAllister; and his beloved granddaughter, Jolie Elizabeth McAllister.
His children will forever remember his determination, his resilience, and the lessons he taught—often through example rather than conversation. As they have grown older and become parents themselves, they have come to understand that what may have once felt like strictness was, in many ways, his unique expression of love and protection.
Though no one is without imperfections, Mike will be remembered for his steadfast spirit, his willingness to shoulder burdens for those he loved, and his unwavering commitment to his family.
As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that while his earthly journey has ended, the values he instilled and the love he had for his family will continue through the generations he leaves behind.
He was deeply loved, will be greatly missed, and will never be forgotten.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
