Nancy Gail Helton, of Huntsville, passed away on June 17, 2025.

Nancy was born on November 16, 1961, to Ernest and Evelyn Ragsdale. Nancy is survived by her son, Dakota (Hallie) Gray; her sisters, Barbara Potter, Deborah (Tom) Salter, Sandra Sullivan; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernest Ragsdale.

Nancy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, loyalty, and radiant smile.

As a dedicated dog groomer for over 30 years, she built a close-knit community of customers and friends. Her love for animals went far beyond grooming—she offered comfort, care, and even boarding when others couldn't be there.

Nancy was a true believer, and her faith was evident in the way she lived her life. She always trusted that God had a plan. Her love for the Lord gave her strength, compassion, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone around her.

Nancy walked in faith and love, and now she rests in everlasting peace.
