Nancy Dee Tipton, 91, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Mrs. Tipton is survived by her daughter, Donna Tipton Dutton; two great granddaughters, Alyssa and LeAnna McCutcheon; four great-great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hadassah Grace, Avagail and Zahavah Ellis.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lester Earl Tipton; parents, James and Mabel Baites; daughter, Brenda Tipton Hodges; granddaughter, Melissa Hodges McCutcheon and sister, Ernestine Buford Tucker.

Nancy leaves behind a legacy of faith, joy, humility, and service, as well as a host of extended family, her loving Lincoln Church of Christ family and Sassy Sewers who will miss her deeply but will forever carry her light in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 11:00 am in the chapel with Ron Williams and Colin McKee officiating.  Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
