Neida Frances Bice, a faithful servant of the Lord, known to many as Mom, Granna, and Aunt Neida, passed away on June 4th, 2025 surrounded by family at the age of 89. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with family and friends. For many years she spent her career in the banking and mortgage industry. She was a devoted member of New Salem Baptist church and loved her church family dearly.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the compassionate and caring medical staff at Huntsville Hospital who cared for her so well during this difficult time.

Preceded in death by her husband Earl Thomas Bice, father Ed Sharpe, mother Gladys Sharpe, two brothers Roger and Grayson Sharpe, and sister Sarah Ann Sharpe Hatfield.

She is survived by her four children Earl "Tommy" Thomas Bice II (Lisa) Cindy Bice Miller (Tony), Timothy "Tim" Bice (Gina), and Kelly Irwin (Don), 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her family, Neida was blessed with a lifelong friendship with Anita Dillaha, who was like a sister to her and considered an honorary member of the family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with a service immediately following at New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Hampton Cove Cemetery.

Pall Bearers: Jason Bice, Justin Bice, Michael Miller, Tyler Pace, Ty Pace, and Jimmy Hatfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to new Salem Baptist Church.
