IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas Nunzio
Silletti
April 30, 1942 – December 19, 2025
Nicholas "Nick" Nunzio Silletti, age 83, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital.
Born in Norwood, Massachusetts, to Nicholas V. and Frances Silletti, Nick's journey was defined by service and hard work. Following his graduation from culinary school, he honorably served his country in the United States Army. Nick later transitioned into a successful career in automotive sales, spending many dedicated years with Royal Chevrolet before eventually retiring from Bentley Automotive. An active spirit throughout his retirement, Nick was a familiar face at the Huntsville Tennis Center, where he played several times a week. He found great joy in his garden, harvesting hundreds of vegetables each year to use in his kitchen and share with friends and family. A gifted cook, Nick loved nothing more than sharing a delicious Italian meal with those he loved. Above all, he was a devoted grandfather, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his grandchildren at their many extracurricular activities.
Nick is survived by his sons, Michael "Tony" Silletti of Huntsville, AL, and Nicholas C. Silletti (Kathryn) of Monrovia, AL; his daughter, Angela Knight of Harvest, AL; and his six cherished grandchildren: Brandon Knight, Victoria Silletti, Griffin Knight, Brynlee Silletti, Trevor Silletti, and Rocco Silletti. He also leaves behind his brothers, Gerald Silletti (Margaret) of Norfolk, MA, and Michael Silletti (Jayne) of Norton, MA; and his sisters, Carlita Greenebaum (Tom) of Rock Hill, SC, Patricia Williams of Madison, TN, and Stella Brolin (Dennis) of Attleboro, MA.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Mary Jo Silletti; his parents, Nicholas V. and Frances Silletti; his brother, Peter Silletti; his brother-in-law, Jack Williams; and his son-in-law, Rick Knight.
