Odinn Dee Freeman, 47, of Harvest passed away on October 28, 2023. He is survived by his fiance, Katina Carter; sisters, Lisa Freeman, Oddny Gerstner; niece, Rachael Yerby and countless friends.

Odinn was born on July 7th, 1976 in Pheonix, Arizona but spent his early childhood in Iceland. After moving with his family back to the United States in 1984 , he grew up in Stafford, Virginia and graduated from Brooke Pointe High School in 1995. In the following years, he made his home in Virginia and Indiana before finally settling in the Huntsville, Alabama area. It was there that he earned his commercial driving license drive for White Oak and Carter Express trucking companies and where he met his fiancé, Katina Carter, with whom he made his home in Harvest.

Odinn was an avid Ford Mustang enthusiast and an active member of the Rocket City Mustang Club in Huntsville. When he wasn't working on his cars, he was spending time with his fiancé, attending Rocket City Trash Pandas games, and playing with their dogs.

Odinn was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Oddny Elva Gerstner; brother, Edward Coleman Gerstner; and sisters. Katrina Jongepier and Mary Twiggs.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Services will follow in the chapel at 4:00 PM with Chaplain Mark Morgan officiating.
