Patricia Ann (Lynn) Everhart, 80, went to be with our Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family on June 30th , 2026, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Alabama, in Huntsville, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her former husband George M. Everhart, parents Samuel Asa Lynn and Bonnie Jean (Brown) Lynn, brothers Joe Lynn (Sybil) and Bill Lynn (Joyce), and sisters Sammie Chance (Jack), Susan Miller (Harold), and Lois Lusk (Marion). 

She lived a full and remarkable life and was loved by all those that had the privilege of knowing her. She was at peace and ready to return to her heavenly home. Her faith, kindness, generosity, compassion and dedication to family and community will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her and experience her in life.

Patricia grew up in Cookeville, Tennessee, going to church, school and helping the family at either the grocery store or the family’s motel, Lynn’s Motel. After graduating from Tennessee Tech with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Pat started working for IBM and quickly grew within the company. She became a manager in the marketing office and continued as a manager until she retired after 35 years in Durham, North Carolina. She subsequently lived in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina for many years where she was active within the community and especially loved playing golf. 

Pat is survived by her daughter Brenda K. Blackman and husband Danny G. Blackman of Selma, North Carolina, and her younger sister Janice Mysza (Glenn) of Rockwell, Texas. She is also survived by nephews Joe Lynn (Sheila), Curt Lynn, Andy Miller (Ann), and Mike Lynn (Jean), and nieces Cyndi Wilson (Barry), Kim Chandler (David), Mitzi Miller, Jeannie Chambers (Mark), Lori Gibson (John), and Lisa Hull (John), as well as numerous family and friends from all over.

Pat had a big heart and so much love for everyone. She performed lots of community work and volunteered for several organizations. She was loved greatly and will be missed.
