Patsy "Mama Mai" Chapman of Huntsville, Alabama passed away at home on August 18, 2025 at the age of 72.  She was born in Caraway, Arkansas on August 24, 1952.

Patsy was an officer at the Salvation Army most of her life and a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Chapman; her parents, K.O. Bailey and Lula Wanda Lee Brown; siblings, Danny Kaye Bailey, Linda Carolyn Lee Lovett, Paulette Barber, Johnny DeWayne Bailey; and a daughter, Jennifer Bass; and a granddaughter, Isabella Grace Allen.

She is survived by her sisters, Vickie Smith and Janie Craven; brother-in-law, Robert Chapman; her children, Mandy Allen, Jeffery Scott Chapman, Cameron Todd Bama Chapman. She raised Hunter Jay Chapman and Paul Bryant Carter Chapman. She is also survived by her grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the Dr's and nurses and Affinity Hospice Care for the care they gave Patsy.
