Patsy King Whitsett, 68, passed away peacefully at her home in Huntsville, Alabama, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama on January 7, 1958, to Aaron and Mae King.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Blaine Whitsett; and her parents, Aaron King and Mae King.

Patsy is survived by her sons, William McGaha (Tai) and Colter McGaha (Bambi); her cherished granddaughter, Aspen; her sisters, Peggy (Tommy), Penny,  and Trina; many nieces and nephews, and many beloved members of her extended "daycare family" who were like family to her.

A devoted business owner, Patsy proudly ran "Patsy's Home Daycare" in Huntsville for many years, where she nurtured and cared for countless children with warmth, patience, and love. She will be remembered for her kind heart, dedication to family, and her ability to never meet a stranger.

The family will receive friends at Berryhill Funeral Home on Sunday, March 29th, from 4:00-6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any preferred charity or cause.

Patsy touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
