Peggy Farrell passed on September 16, 2026 in Harvest, Alabama. She was 91, the wife to Edward A. Farrell (deceased) and mother to Anne Farrell and Ellen Farrell (deceased). She lived and raised her children in Quincy, Massachusetts after getting married. 

Peggy was born in Peabody, Massachusetts on May 15, 1935, the only daughter of the late James and Helena (Saxonis) Decoulos of Neo Oitylo, Greece. She was raised in Peabody with her four siblings, graduating from Peabody High School and attended sewing design school. 

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Anne Farrell, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Farrell and four brothers, Christ, John, Stephen, and Nicholas.

 Peggy loved sewing, the beach, gardening, baking Greek pastries and bread, raising poodles, and engaging with people. When younger, she worked part as a waitress at the Commodore and the Hollow restaurants. She was a lunch monitor for the Wollaston school. She attended sewing pattern design school.
