Peggy Marie Smith, 75, of Huntsville, passed away Monday.

Miss Smith was a native of Marshall County and a resident of Madison County since 1985.  She was a retired Physical Education teacher, coach at Stone Middle School, and member of the Spirit of the Cross Church.

Survivors include her life partner, Linda Phillips; brother, Ivey A. Smith; two nephews, Wendall Gardner and Barry Gardner; two nieces, Lisa Baller and Gina Auld; and sister-in-law, Linda Smith.

No services are planned at this time.  Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
