With great sadness and joy that she is with our Lord,  I announce the passing of my precious mother, Rachel McCoy Anderson, on July 25, 2025.

Rachel was born on September 27th, 1941, in Elora, TN. She is survived by her only child, Tina Anderson (Rosemary Anderson). She comes from a very large family with 2 younger sisters, Faye Bunn and Gracie Long, and her oldest brother, JD McCoy, as survivors. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and others who called her Mama.

Rachel was a hair stylist for almost 60 years.  All of her clients and coworkers were like family. She loved all of them and really enjoyed her work.

Her big, beautiful smile and that small little twinkle in her eye which drew everyone into her sweet heart.  She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

No services are planned. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
