Rachel Marie
Keith
February 13, 1953 – May 26, 2026
Rachel Marie Keith, age 73, of Toney, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Rachel was born on February 13, 1953, in Jackson County, Alabama, to James and Katie Wilson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was devoted to caring for others.
Rachel worked for many years as a CNA and home health caregiver before retiring. She had a heart for helping people and spent her life taking care of those she loved most. She was known for being loving, caring, outgoing, blunt, stubborn, and full of life. If Rachel loved you, you knew it.
She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Some of her favorite memories were dancing in the rain with them, cheering on her granddaughters Jaycee, Macie, and Bryleigh at horse shows, watching Alabama football, and simply being surrounded by family and loved ones.
Rachel is survived by her loving husband, Charles Sherman Keith; her children, Tonya Marie Flatt and Christopher William Keith and wife Laurie; adopted daughters, Laura Tetrault and wife Ashley, and Sheri Baker and husband Zack; grandchildren Ashley Marie Farmer and husband Josh, William Tyler Flatt and wife Brooke, Amber Nicole Conway and husband Joey, Jaycee Elizabeth Berry, Bryleigh Addison Keith, Macie Claire Keith, Kaytlin Ford, Raegan Jones, Colton Jones, Loumanda Jo Flatt, Kelsey Stanford, Catelyn Stanford, Keegan Berry, and Athena Byrd; great-grandchildren Kayla Parker, Margo Farmer, Brooks Koelz, Savannah Koelz, Michael Flatt, and Landon Conway; siblings Mable Campbell, Tommy Wilson, Larry Wilson, and Frankie Wilson; as well as numerous nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends she loved dearly, including longtime friends Ruth King and Jennifer Hambrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Katie Wilson; her daughter, Charlotte Renee Stanford; brothers Tommy, Larry, and Frankie Wilson; and granddaughters Kylie Brielle Keith and Katie Marie Tetrault.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 31st at Berryhill Funeral Home, visitation from 11-1 service from 1-2 with burial following at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this difficult time. A special thank you is extended to Aunt Mable, Uncle Jimmy, Cousin Ann Haney, and Norman and Kelly McKelvey for all of their help, love, and support.
Rachel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and that the love she gave so freely will live on through all of us.
