Rachel LeAnn Wofford, 35, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on April 3rd.

Rachel was born in Granite City, IL, to Cindy and Rick Wofford over the midnight hour, ringing in a Happy New Year in 1990. She was the youngest of three daughters.

She spent her childhood years in Colorado, attending school and making lifelong friends. She always had gratitude for the beauty of "Colorful Colorado". Later, she moved to Alabama, joining her Aunt Susan and Uncle Gary. She grew into a wonderful young woman. She always appreciated the charm and culture of the South.

She was a pop culture enthusiast and cinema buff, always delighting anyone with her knowledge of vintage and popular particulars, especially Elvis. Rachel met her late husband, Josh, in Huntsville and spent many years together, periodically, along with Josh's son, Sylvester.

She loved spending time with others, including her grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, friends, and co-workers. She was a natural caregiver and an especially devoted fur-baby mom to her two cats, Bagheera and Barbara Gordon, Beegers.

Rachel is survived by her mother, Cindy, her siblings Kelly (Nick), Lisa (Logan), and her aunts Susan (Gary), Donna (Scott), and Grandmother Wilma, and a host of cousins and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her father, Rick, and husband, Josh, and her cousin, Jesse.

Rachel's family will receive friends at Berryhill Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m..
