Raymond Orville Smith, 82, of Huntsville passed away October 25, 2014. Mr. Smith was a retired firefighter from The Huntsville Fire Department and Redstone Arsenal. He was preceded in death by his parents B.A. and Georgia Smith a son Kenny Ramsey and daughter Yuvonne Crippen. He is survived by his wife Mildred Smith; son, Raymond B. Smith (Patty); daughter, Sonja Michael (Gary); seven grandchildren, Chris Smith, Dawn Woodall, David Crippen, Heather Roberts, Michelle Michael, Matthew Michael and Bradley Smith; a number of great grandchildren; two sisters Peggy Seaton (Thomas) and Margaret Stephens (Tom). Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home with a chapel service following at 2:00pm
with Brother Wilson Byrd and Brother Bobby Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
