Renee Hillard Perry, 61, of Huntsville, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Renee was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Hillard; and her husband, Terry Perry. She leaves behind her mother, Faye Hillard; her daughter, Valerie (Greg) Thomas; her son, Bradley Sharp; and three grandchildren, Jackson, Madison, and Brantley Thomas. She also leaves behind her fur baby, Ethel.

She held many titles including daughter, mother, nana, and friend. She loved the beach and her favorite pastime was sitting on her porch and watching all of the different birds. She was a faithful child of God and anyone who crossed her path would surely know how much she loved her Jesus. She was a member of Lakewod for many years and she loved her church sisters and her pastor, Brother Terrell Boyd.

We are taking comfort in Jesus and knowing that she is walking the streets of gold hand in hand with her Savior.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28th, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Lakewood Baptist Church, with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Taylor Cemetery.
