Robert Eugene Spiegel Jr., lovingly known as Bob, passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born on March 26, 1963, in Georgia and made his home in Huntsville, Alabama.

Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a reflection of his strength, discipline, and commitment to serving others.

He was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and brother. He shared more than 20 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Beth Spiegel. He was a proud father to his twins, Robert Eugene Spiegel III (Kelli) and Erin (Andy), and a loving stepfather to Josh Hall (Ariel) and Julia Rucki (Steven).

He was a cherished grandfather to Robert Spiegel IV, Virginia Spiegel, Holden Rucki, Liam Rucki, Emmett Hall, and Emily Hall, all of whom brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his siblings, Bob Spiegel (Connie) and Debbie Taylor, and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sieglinda Spiegel.

Bob worked as a senior superintendent and was a skilled electrician by trade, known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. Outside of work, he enjoyed NASCAR, football, and mountain biking—passions that reflected his energetic and spirited nature.

He will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking spirit, and the many memories he created with those closest to him.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Vanderbilt Medical Center and Huntsville Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Bob.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
