Rodney Dale Woodall, 57, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 after a short struggle with cancer at Huntsville Hospital.

Rodney was a resident of Huntsville for fifty-four years after moving here with his parents at the age of three.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Woodall; mother, Margaret Woodall; and sister, Sue Miller.  Rodney is survived by his brother, Desmond Ross (Pat); nephews: Chris, Nathan, and Jared Ross and Gabe Miller; niece, Brittany Boyett and several great-nephews and nieces.

Rodney was confined to a wheelchair most of his 57 years.  However, the wheelchair did not confine his intellect or spirit for a living a life filled with wit, humor. a love for animal , a passion for collecting and an openness to embrace people from all walks of life.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the caring staff on the 5th floor of Huntsville Hospital.  They allowed Rodney the dignity to be who he was and offered him support and comfort.

After cremation, Rodney's ashes will be scattered at a later date.

Rodney, you will be missed!  May your spirit now soar and run with the wind!!
