Ronald H. Stiles, 78, of Harvest, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in his home with family. He was 78 years old.

He was born in Potter, Pennsylvania and moved  to Pennellville, New York where he lived for most of his life. He moved to Harvest Alabama nine years ago.

He was in the Air National Guard for over 42 years. Hancock Air Base in North Syracuse, new York was his base.  He then went to NEADS (Northeast Air Defense Sector) until he retired.

His hobby was woodworking.  He made cabinetry and flag boxes for his fellow guard members.

His family and friends received bookcases, shoe racks, and engraved plaques with his CNC machine.  He could repair almost anything relating to electrical and plumbing.  He knew a little about almost everything.  He even built a chicken coop that we called the chicken mansion.

He is preceded in death by his father Horace Stiles and mother Wilma Stiles; brothers, Donald, Ralph and William Stiles.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia A Stiles, son Joseph F. Stiles (Carla); two daughters, Pamela M. Stiles and Melissa L. Young (Andrew).  He had 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  two sisters, Joyce Duskee and Gloria Madison as well as his brother Horace Stiles who he spoke with often, also many nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered with love, compassion and an unwavering helping hand to all who knew him.  He was a loving husband, father, grand father and great grandfather.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flower the family suggest donation to Affinity Hospice for the wonderful care received by Ron.
