IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosemary Mclemore
Cooper
September 20, 1943 – March 7, 2026
Rosemary McLemore Cooper, 82, was welcomed home by her Lord after a life beautifully and purposefully lived. Born on September 20, 1943, to Odie Lee and Millinea Weathers McLemore, Rosemary's life was rooted in family and faith. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and exhibited a steady devotion to those she loved.
Her daughters were her pride and joy, and her grandchildren, who called her "Kimama," were her heartbeats. Nothing brought Rosemary greater happiness than time spent surrounded by family—especially gathered around a table filled with her beloved Southern cooking. Well known as a wonderful cook, especially her pinto beans and cornbread, she loved to cook, and when it came to food and fun, the more, the merrier. She also loved playing games, Alabama football, and watching Hallmark movies with her inseparable friend, Eddie Pearl. She enjoyed monthly lunch gatherings with her special friend group, which included friendships that spanned over seventy years.
Rosemary was deeply loved, and she loved well—fiercely, fully, and faithfully.
She is survived by daughters, Michaelle "Missye" (Mark) Cole and Dana (Shannon) Crim; grandsons, Ryan (Christia) Lee, Tyler (Kelly) Lee, Charlie (Anna) Crim, and Jack Parker Crim; great-grandsons, Brayden, Jackson, and Max; step-great-grandchildren, Hailey Jo, Thomas, Anthony, Lola, Lavender, Lily, and Ezra. She is also survived by half-sister, Betty Williamson; special nieces who were like daugters, Pam (Darrell) Flores and Jackie (Nick) Tolomei; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins who cherished her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn Powers; and half-siblings Leldon, Lendon, Odie Jr., Howard, and Shirley.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Lee, Charlie Crim, Jack Parker Crim, Chris Powers, Darrell Flores, and Nick Tolomei. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Lee and George Guffey.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. John Waples and PA Jillian Kinzer at CCI, Dr. Michael Rydner, Hospice of North Alabama, special friends Eddie Green and Kaye Gray, and countless other friends and neighbors, for their compassionate care and steadfast support.
