Ruby Wardlaw Kendall Thomas, age 87, of Huntsville, Alabama, entered her eternal rest on November 30, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1938, in Itawamba County, Mississippi, to Shellie and Mattie Sue Wardlaw.

Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, William David Kendall (February 1997) and Bobby Thomas (November 2015); her parents; her brother, Roy Wardlaw; and her granddaughter, Lindsey Renee Dupree.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through her children: Donna Kendall Sharp (David), Debra Kendall (Casey), Denise Kendall Womack (Kerry), and John David Kendall (Aleisha). Ruby was blessed with eight grandchildren — Adam Sharp, Chelsea Sharp, Josh Womack, Kacey Womack Butler, Ashlyn Grace Kendall Poole, Zachary Kendall, Lily Kendall, and Luke Kendall — and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Ruby faithfully served at First Baptist Church of Hazel Green, where her devotion to Christ and her community touched countless lives. She embodied the words of Proverbs 31:28: "Her children arise and call her blessed."

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home, with the funeral service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kids to Love, continuing Ruby's legacy of compassion and care for children.
