Obituary

Russell Anthony Carter was born in Worcester, MA to his parents Joyce and Mickey Carter. Russell was the youngest out of their five children. His mother remembers him as a curious baby and says people use to call him octopus hands because he would touch everything in sight.
From a very young age Russell knew exactly who he was. He would scream it loudly. Never did he hide from who he was. We should all be a little more like Russell. His infectious energy and absolute love for life, family, and friends was apparent. All of the elderly neighbors where he grew up loved him immensely. He would often help them with daily tasks and give them fresh hair cuts. Living a fast life and traveling so many different places. Some would say he lived 9 lives in one. Kind of like a cat. He lived, oh boy did he live. He loved, oh boy did he love.
Anyone who crossed paths with Russell was instantly connected to his one-of-a-kind personality. He attracted people like magnets and made everyone laugh so hard. His movie re-enactments and constant funny jokes, the world will miss those. He spread light and love everywhere he went and never judged anyone.
Russell had that gift of making others feel so genuinely happy.  He was one of the most talented hair stylists and worked in top salons in Boston and Miami. Anywhere Russell worked, he instantly built an adoring clientele, his talent was undeniable. The image of him doing hair will forever be a memory cherished by many.
Russell was a sensitive thinker and always helped others. One time when living in Boston with his best friend Luke, the brown stone building caught on fire and Russell saved the people by banging on all of their doors. Wish we could sit and list all of the times he saved people and animals. Russell would appreciate his peaceful mornings, watching the birds and drinking his coffee.
He called his mom every day, those priceless good morning meola calls will be so dearly missed. Russell bathed in the glory of music and loved to twirl and dance. He was music, he was laughter, he was love. May eternal be his memory.
