Sally "Sara" Walker passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.  Sally was born on August 2, 1935 in Trafford, Pennsylvania.  She was the daughter of the late David and Ada Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edgar H Walker.  Sally was the fifth of ten children, and is survived by sisters Jeannie Reed (John) of Springfield, Missouri and Marian Waddell of Allentown, Pennsylvania; daughter Alice Pettigrew (Don) of Madison, AL, sons Scott Walker (Sheila) of Cumming, GA and Mark Walker (Kim) of Oakland, CA; seven grandchildren Sarah Todd (Lee), Michael Pettigrew-Brito (Lily), Susie Capps (Charlie), Macey Shelton (Jarret), William Walker (Rachel), Kira Walker and Morgan Walker; and five great-grandchildren.

Sally graduated from Missouri State University in 1957 with a degree in Elementary Education and taught school for 30 years.  She loved teaching, crocheting, puzzles, her family, and most of all, the Lord.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Rock Family Worship Center, Madison Campus on Saturday, November 1st with visitation from 10:00 -11:00 AM and service at 11:00.
