Samantha Lynn Jones, age 56, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Samantha filled every room she entered with warmth, creativity, and a generous heart.

Samantha had a lifelong passion for baking and crafting, sharing her gifts freely with the people she loved. Her creativity shone brightly—she earned awards for her choral performances and was recognized for her writing talents, including receiving honors in a law enforcement essay contest that remained a cherished accomplishment.

Family was the center of Samantha's world. To her grandchildren—Kaleb, Ashleigh, Sarah, Spencer, Gideon, Hunter, Sebastian, Coulson, and Dominic—she was "Mimi," a source of endless love, comfort, and joy. She treasured every moment spent with them.

Samantha is survived by her devoted husband, David Boyd; her children, Kraig Skipworth, Jesse Boyd, Harley Boyd, and David Boyd; her beloved mother, Jerrie Jones; and her brothers, Billy Jones Jr. and Eddie Jones.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Matthew Jones Sr., whom she now joins in heaven.

Samantha leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity—one that will continue to live on through her family, friends, and all whose lives she brightened. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the warmth she brought into the world will never fade.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 3:00 to 4:00 pm followed by the service at 4:00 pm in the chapel.
