Sandra Gail Anderson Bullock, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at the age of 79.

Sandra was the loving mother of Brian Helms and his wife, Angie Helms, and Tammy Waldrop and her husband, Sonny Waldrop. She was also a loving wife to Ronnie Bullock.

She was a loving sister to Cathy Whitley and her husband, Joe Whitley.

She was a cherished grandmother to Brandon Phillips and his wife, Michelle Phillips, Alex Phillips, and Colton Helms and his wife, Brooke Helms.

Sandra was also a loving great-grandmother to McKynsie Phillips, Tanner Phillips, and Oakleigh Helms. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought great joy and love into her life, and she treasured the time she shared with them.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Pleas and Lavada Anderson; and her sisters, Susan Jones, Cynthia Smith, and Paulette Whisenant.

Sandra will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the many memories she created with those she loved. She touched the lives of many and will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends.

Her love, kindness, and memories will live on through her family and the many people who knew and loved her.

A service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the family’s home place.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
