Sandra LeAnn "LeAnn" Moore-Hanvey, 59, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born on June 1, 1965, in Huntsville, LeAnn was known for her sharp wit, infectious laugh, and the kind of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. She had a gift for making people feel at ease, and her quick comebacks and one-liners were legendary among family and friends.

LeAnn was a woman of many talents. While she was a devoted homemaker, she also held many roles throughout her life, always willing to step up and do what was needed. No matter the job, she gave it her all—but her greatest passion, by far, was her family. She added a touch of magic to everything and everyone she touched. Being "Granny" to her granddaughters, Luna and Willa, was the light of her life, and she poured endless love and joy into every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Hanvey; her daughter, Shelby Moore; her cherished granddaughters, Luna and Willa; her mother, Billie Ann Moore; her brother, Stacey Moore; and nephew, Josh. LeAnn will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her.

LeAnn is being cremated, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date
