Our beautiful mother, Sandra Regina Robbins, 74, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2023 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, Alabama.

"Gina" was born in Huntsville, Alabama on July 27, 1948 to Deimer and Selena Pinkerton. She spent most of her life taking care of two daughters and husband, Dan Robbins. They shared such a great love. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2021. They fell in love at first sight and were married two weeks later in March of 1974.

Her legacy lives on with her two daughters, Sheri Lynn Greene and Dana Marie Thornton (Wayne), her five grand children, Britni Trivett, Alexandrea Dupree (John Michael), Mason Thornton (and fiancé Caroline), Madison Thornton, and Ashley Wright, and four great grandsons Jayce, Ayden, Landon, and Maddox.

Arrangements are under the direction of Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama.

The visitation will be on April 26, 2023 from 10:30am to 12:00pm, immediately followed by the funeral service with Chaplain Mickey Jett and Bro. Mason Thornton officiating. There will not be a procession or graveside service at that time.

On April 27, 2023 her immediate family will be following her to Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama, where she will be laid to rest with her love, Daniel Robbins.

Honorary pallbearers are as follows Wayne Thornton, Mason Thornton, John Michael Dupree, Lloyd Pinkerton, Larry Pinkerton, and Thomas Hunter.
