Sara Corinne McCain, 85, of Decatur, passed away May 28, 2025.

Corinne was preceded in death by her mother Alma Pearson, father Meek Pearson, brothers Brad Pearson and Bob Pearson.

She is survived by her daughter Valeria Meeks, son-in-law Johnny "Butch" Meeks, sister Peggy Pearson, sister-in-law Jean Pearson, nieces & nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Corinne was born in North Carolina and graduated from Lenoir Rhyne College. She was an elementary school teacher for 34 years, in Brevard County FL and Decatur, AL.

Her interests included crafts, drawing and painting.  The beach was a place she enjoyed living near or visiting, and enjoyed nature in general. She also loved time with family.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 1st from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.  Graveide service will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens at 2:30 with Rev. Tim Cole officiating.
