Shari Kaye Knutzen, 60, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Shari Kaye Knutzen, born on December 29, 1964, in San Jose, California, was the beloved daughter of Stephen Lednik and Jane Lednik. After her mother remarried in 1969, she was adopted by her stepfather, Theodore Knutzen, and took on the Knutzen surname. Shari graduated from Gilroy High School, where she was actively involved in 4H and track.

She is survived by her sister, Deborah LeDet, her sister Vivian Scott and her partner, Leah Moore, and her brother, Stephen Knutzen, and his wife, Elaine. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will cherish her memory.

Shari was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Knutzen, and her father, Theodore Knutzen.

Her legacy of love and dedication to her family and community will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.  A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel at 4:00 pm with Rusty Hills officiating.
