Shelby Jean Brostrom, 84, of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Mrs. Brostrom is survived by her children, Pamela Polanco, Eric Hosmer (Debbie), and Natalie Batchelor (Kenneth); grandchildren, Pj Polanco (Paulina), Suzanne Polanco, Preston Polanco, Patrick Polanco (Rizelle), Peter Polanco, Priscilla Polanco, Aaron Hosmer, Alyssa Hosmer, Olivia Batchelor, Colby Batchelor and Logan Batchelor; great grandchildren, Prido, Parker, Mikaela, Penelope, and Little Preston; siblings, Betty Cox and Larry Hastings (Cecilia).

She is preceded by her parents, Hubert and Bessie Hasting; her first husband, Ed Hosmer; her recent husband, Ted Brostrom; and siblings, Junior Hastings and Relura Jones.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, immediately followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Tim Cole officiating.  Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
