Sterling Keyon Arnold, 43, of Huntsville, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

Sterling Keyon Arnold, affectionately known to most as "Keyon" began this earthly journey on July 13, 1980. He was born to Sherman and Rachael Arnold, in Mobile, AL. Keyon always had a captivating presence, even as a young child he would perform climbing tricks, in the tree for passers-by to give him a dollar. Keyon was a jack of all trades! He could whip up a gourmet meal just as well as he could lay a floor; and everything in between. Being a chef by trade and passion; he was the designated chef for our family functions. Keyon had a brilliant mind and studied many subjects from metaphysics to commercial codes. Keyon once had dreams of bringing home the gold as an Olympic swimmer. He loved all things water: from the pool, to the ocean, fishing to white water rafting he was a true water lover. Keyon was truly a free spirit, fitting no mold anyone attempted to place him in.  Keyon was certain to get it done in true Keyon fashion. He loved to travel, and drive long distances. Keyon was pure in heart, causing children to gravitate to him naturally. Unfortunately his life was brought to a tragic end on September 14th, 2023. He's most recently will be forever missed by many.

Keyon leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tangela Riles-Arnold of Huntsville, AL; his mother, Rachael Arnold of Mobile, AL; his daughters: Keyonna, P'Ja'mes and Zakeelah all of Mobile, AL; his sons, Keyon Sterling of Macon, GA, Sterling Isaiah;  Omarih, Ermias and Elijah all of Huntsville, AL.; his brothers, Curtis Scott, James (Connie) Arnold and Sherman (India) Arnold all of Mobile,  AL; one sister, Alicia (Willie) Moore of Mobile, AL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Keyon was preceeded in death by his father, Sherman Arnold and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in Prichard, AL. A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Serenity Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL.
