Sutherland Blake Buford, 23, passed away May 13, 2014. He was a graduate of Grissom High School where he played baseball, football and was the 2007 Alabama State Wrestling Champion for Grissom. He is survived by a daughter, Sidney Elizabeth Davis; parents, Bill Buford and Michelle Slaughter; grandparents, Linda and Mac Lewter; Tony and Melanie Buford; uncle and aunt, Curtis and Deanna Buford; aunts, Vitale Buford and DeVere Shumate; cousins Emilee and Jessica Buford and his Grissom Wrestling Family. Family will receive friends from 3:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday May 18, 2014 at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 5:00pm memorial service with Reverend James Harrell officiating. The family suggests donations to Grissom High School Wrestling Team. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
