Sylvia Rogers Bragg, 92, of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 04, 2026.

She is survived by her son, James S. Bragg Jr. (wife, Beverly); daughter, Edith Bragg Sargent (husband, Robert); grandchildren, James S. Bragg III (wife, Elizabeth), Lauren Bragg Weisner (husband, Chris), Christy Sargent Smith (husband, Gary), and Robert L. Sargent III (wife, Kristy); along with nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Huston and Rose Myrick; and the love of her life, James S. Bragg (Jimmy).

Sylvia was in banking for over 50 years. She loved her family and her lake home in Scottsboro. She and Jimmy loved to travel, square dance, and work side by side!

The family would like to thank the staff at Thrive/ Goldton at Jones Farm for all the love and care that was given. We would also like to thank the kind staff at Aveanna Hospice.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 9th, from 10:00-11:00 AM at Berryhill Funeral Home, with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will be held at Lawler Cemetery in Brownsboro, Alabama.
