Obituary

Tammy Bennett Patterson, 58, of Huntsville, AL passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 surrounded by her immediate family.

Tammy was a phenomenal woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was warm, loving, caring, selfless, compassionate, giving and genuine. Tammy loved spending time with her family,  receiving the most joy by spoiling her grandchildren and spending as much time as she could with them. She enjoyed reading and sitting on the front porch with her husband, watching the birds in the evenings. Her favorite pastime was spending time on the water. She loved the pool, the lake, the river, the beach; if it was water, she loved it. Tammy followed in her mother's footsteps and was a 2nd generation cosmetology instructor for over 25 years. For 13 years she worked as the Financial Aid Leader at Paul Mitchell the School Huntsville helping countless students find a way to start their dream careers in the cosmetology industry.

Tammy was born in Jasper, AL on September 8, 1962. She was raised in Huntsville, AL and attended Butler High School where she met her husband, Bryan. The timing wasn't right and after both having families of their own, they reconnected in 2008 and have been living their happily ever after ever since. Tammy touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life and gave the ultimate gift in her final moments with organ and tissue donation and now she lives on as a blessing to others. Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Stephen Bryan Patterson; daughters; Nata Townsend, NaCole White (Jeremy),  Ashley Hughes (Brandon), Bryana Bird (Michael);  six grandchildren;  Gracie,  Jaylon,  Lily,  Scarlett,  Emery,  and  Cora;  father;  Sloan Bradford;  brothers; Joseph Bradford, Daniel Bradford, and Terry Bennett. She was preceded in death by her mother; Betty Jean Bradford and her brother; Charles Mark Bradford. She also leaves behind numerous close friends and family members whom she loved dearly.
