Obituary

Teresa Diane Taylor Cook

12/06/1957- 7/31/26

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Raymond Cook; her mother, Betty June Knox Hall; her father, William Wallace Taylor II; and her two brothers, Larry Wayne Taylor and William Wallace Taylor III. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Jean Taylor and Shelly Taylor; her three children, Sky Benjamin Polk (Bonnie L. Polk), Jessica Lynn Polk, and Brandon Cody Cook; her four grandchildren, Skyler Lee Polk, Savanah Marie Polk, Jaylen Draper, and Makayla Kyrie Draper; and her two great-grandchildren, Kalayah Elise Jordan and Azai Draper.

She never met a stranger. To her, everyone was family, and every person deserved compassion, a listening ear, and a place in her heart. She loved with her whole soul and gave without expecting anything in return. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and acceptance, where countless memories were made and cherished.

For many years, her family's farmers market on Cook Avenue was more than just a place to shop; it was a gathering place filled with warmth, laughter, and friendship because of her. She was the heart and soul of the market, greeting customers with a smile, sharing stories, and making everyone who stopped by feel like they belonged. To so many, a visit to the market wasn't complete without seeing her.

Her greatest joy was the family she built and the love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, laughter, and unconditional love that will continue through every generation that follows.

Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
