Obituary

Terry Lynn Duvall, 75, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on August 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on November 12, 1949, in Huntsville, Alabama, Terry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War as a Combat Medic, Spec 5. He graduated from Highland High School in Highland, Indiana, in 1968 and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a pipefitter at Inland Steel, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty.

Terry was a man of quiet strength and deep faith, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. As a father to three daughters, he embodied steady love, gentle wisdom, and unwavering support — raising strong women with compassion, humor, and heart.

He was happiest at home, enjoying old Westerns, collecting non-sport memorabilia, and appreciating the simple pleasures of family life. A faithful believer in the Lord, Terry carried his convictions with grace and humility throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy "Grandad" and Juanita "Nina" Duvall, his grandparents Bill "Daddy Bill" and Edith "Mama Edie" Ingram, his uncles Little Calvin and Little Gary Ingram, his father-in- law Barbee "Pop" White, and his sister-in-law Ann White.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ginger; daughters Nicole Miller (Jeff), Michelle Duvall, and Deidre Duvall; and grandchildren Hannah, Hailee, and Ethan Miller, who brought him great joy. He also leaves behind his cherished grand-dog, Loki, who was always by his side.

Terry is lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Peggy White; brothers Frank Duvall (Nelda), Anthony Duvall (Joyce), and his twin, Kerry Duvall (Gayle) with whom he shared an unbreakable bond from birth; as well as brothers-in-law Steve White (Ann) and Ronnie White (Allison). He was also dearly loved by his many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
