Tom was born July 2, 1964, in Los Angeles, CA and raised by Juanita and George Gagnon. Tom primarily grew up in Eagle Lake, ME, and graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1982. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Army and actively served from 1982 -1985 immediately followed by serving in the US Army Reserves until 1988. Tom was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was a hockey dad for many years for his two children and volunteered much of his free time to managing his son's high school hockey team even after his son went onto college. After hockey, Tom was a dedicated dance dad and supported his daughter and her high school dance team as they competed around the country.
Tom and Pat loved traveling, and they took advantage of an opportunity to move to spend time overseas. Tom took a position within MTSI to work with NATO and lived in Brussels, Belgium, for five years. Tom's outgoing personality resulted in always making new friends wherever they traveled throughout Europe.
Tom love life, and provided everyone with a large smile when he entered a room. He will forever be missed.
Tom will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
