Thomas Wayne Gilliam, 85, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Mr. Gilliam is survived by his wife of 63 wonderful years, Jane Elizabeth Gilliam; children, Jill Phillips (Kerry), and Timothy Wayne Gilliam; grandson, Logan Phillips; and niece, Karen Gilliam Levy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Jimmie Gilliam; brother, Bobby Gilliam.

After High school, he attended Auburn University.  After completing college, Thomas began a career with the United States Government Accountability Office, where he was employed for 42 Years before retiring.  Thomas was a dedicated and faithful Auburn football fan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Whitesburg Baptist South Campus Chapel from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am with David Dye officiating.  Interment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
