IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Caral
Nayman, Jr.
September 27, 1952 – November 30, 2025
Thomas Caral Nayman, Jr. lovingly know as Tommy, Papa, Grandpa and Paw Paw was 73 years old when he took his last breath. He was surrounded by his loved ones when he peacefully passed away on November 30, 2025 in Huntsville, AL.
Tommy was born on September 27, 1952 in Ardmore, TN. A son of late Thomas and Dorothy Nayman. He was number six of the eight Nayman boys (God Bless their Mama). His life's journey brought him to many parts of this beautiful country. Including Tennessee, Florida, Illinois, Indiana and Alaska but his heart always called him back to Alabama where he lived out his years.
He dabbled in several different occupations overtime. Each providing him a viable living but he was a music man at heart. A passion he shared with many of his siblings, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed writing his own songs and poems and would find solitude in sitting and picking on his guitar or mandolin. He had the gift of song and shared it at many family gatherings and church services. Music was a comfort healing tool for him during times of sorrow or pain. It also helped him express his love and joy as well as giving him some sort of connection to people and places. Tommy would be best described as a restless soul with a free spirit, a proud father and grandfather and a loyal Alabama fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Douglas, Anthony and Ralph.
He is survived by four brothers: Jerry (Ginny) New Market, AL, Donald (Kathy) New Market, AL, Neal (Annette) Hazel Green, AL and Timothy (Vicky) Arab, AL. Sister-in-law: Doris Nayman, Gardendale, AL. Four Children: Jason Nayman (Angie) Holladay, TN, Tracy Curtin (Scott) Port Angeles, WA, David Nayman (Lori) Chicago, IL and James Nayman (Bridgette) Oak Forest, IL. 11 Grandchildren: Steven Nayman (Lauren), Bradley Nayman, Jeffrey Nayman, Cameron Nayman, Leia Nayman, Ashley Bell (Landon), Aidan Curtin, Gwen Nayman, Trent Nayman, Jonah Nayman, Ruby Nayman.
