Tommy Wayne Thompson 66, of Gurley, Alabama passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026 at his residence.

Tommy worked in construction all his life as a high rise window cleaner until his retirement.  He is loved and will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his sister Nina Ruth Thompson and his father Tom Thompson.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Nora Jean Fitch, son, Blake Thompson; sisters Teresa Congo and Sharon Criger; special friend Lois (Pnut) Wilson; Aunt, Margaret Kimbrough; uncle, Buddy Edwards, along with several cousins and a host of loving friends (who were like family.)

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Berryhill Funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Gurley City Cemetery.
