Tommy Lynn
Corum
July 5, 1950 – May 21, 2026
Tommy Lynn Corum, age 75, passed away on May 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Tommy was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and faithful friend whose life was marked by service, faith, and dedication to those he loved most.
Tommy faithfully served his church for many years as a deacon, children’s Sunday school teacher, and Royal Ambassadors leader. Saved by the grace of God at the age of 21, Tommy spent the rest of his life leading his family in the Lord and living out his faith through kindness, integrity, and service to others.
For 44 years, Tommy worked diligently at Regions Bank, where he was known for his strong work ethic, commitment to organization, and ability to implement policy with excellence. His dedication and professionalism left a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him.
Tommy enjoyed football, target shooting, golf, and treasured family vacations during his younger years. In his later years, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He loved playing hard, making memories, and ensuring that the utmost fun was always had by everyone around him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nannie Bee Corum, his father, Bernard Fayette Corum and, his brother, Ricky Allen Corum.
Tommy leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Christy Lee Corum; his brother, Lary Corum; his children, Keith Corum (Nicki), Katie Nazary (Dale), and Thomas Corum (Courtney); and his cherished grandchildren, Henry, Jack, Walter, Mattie, Lillie, and Emily.
In accordance with Tommy’s wishes, a private family service will be held in June.
Tommy will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, his servant’s heart, and the joy he brought to those around him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Tommy’s memory by watching a Hallmark movie with your family — something he greatly enjoyed during the last several years of his life. Donations can be made to First Baptist Church Madison 4257 Sullivan St, Madison, AL 35758 in memory of Tommy L. Corum.
