IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tony Alan
Kerns
September 11, 1961 – October 21, 2025
Tony Alan Kerns, 64, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on October 21, 2025. He was born on September 11, 1961, and lived a life full of laughter, generosity, and love.
Tony graduated from Rhea County High School and went on to earn a degree in Missile and Munitions Technology. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant on November 30, 1999. Following his military career, Tony held various roles, including those at Chrysler, Continental Automotive, and Siemens. He was most recently employed with SAIC before finally enjoying his well-earned retirement in April 2024.
Tony found great joy in spending time with his family and friends. He loved attending his granddaughters' athletic events, playing golf, visiting casinos, and enjoying a good poker game. Known for his sharp wit and endless sense of humor, he had a knack for brightening any room he entered.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pauline Knight.
Tony is survived by his loving daughter, Felicia (Scott) Northcutt, and his cherished granddaughter, Ava. He is also survived by his beautiful mother, Geraldine Crowe; his siblings, Sharon Crowe, James Crowe, and Wayne Rigsby; and his uncle, Hy Thurman. He was blessed with a bonus daughter, Tina (Justin) Watson, who, along with her children and the many other "grandbabies" he adored, brought extra love and joy into his life.
Tony was the heart of his family—always giving, always caring. He shared his love freely, always ready with a smile, a helping hand, or a kind word. He had a special gift for making everyone feel valued and loved, and his memory will continue to bring warmth to all who knew him.
A celebration of Tony's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will come together to share stories, laughter, and memories of the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
